How It Works
The VoltGuard 4-in-1 is a 2800A jump starter, a 150 PSI cordless tyre inflator, an LED light and a USB power bank in one glovebox-sized unit. Here is how each part works. Always read the instructions in the box before first use.
1. Jump-start a flat battery
- Switch off the engine and all accessories (lights, radio, air-con).
- Connect the red clamp to the positive (+) battery terminal and the black clamp to the negative (−) terminal or a bare metal part of the car.
- Check that the unit shows it is ready. The 10 built-in protections stop it if the clamps are connected the wrong way.
- Start the car. If it does not start, wait about a minute and try once more.
- Once the engine is running, remove the clamps and recharge the unit.
2. Inflate a tyre
- Screw the hose onto the tyre valve.
- Choose the pressure you want. There are 4 preset modes, and it reads in PSI, BAR, KPA or kg/cm².
- Press start. The inflator stops by itself when it reaches your pressure.
- Use the extra nozzle adapters in the box for bicycles and balls.
3. LED light
Press the light button to cycle through Light, Strobe and SOS. A second light helps when you are pumping a tyre in the dark.
4. Power bank
Plug your phone into the USB-A port to charge it. Recharge the VoltGuard itself through the USB-C port.
